Reading Mark Twains little comment posted with War Is A Racket, "The War Prayer" makes me want to read Twain. I've never read anything from him.
I never liked the pipes when I was younger but Amazing Grace is such a beautiful song. Here is probably one of the better recordings: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkLXOWimMY8

The war prayer is very good, and yes, the best way to remember them is to remember never to send them to war.
