Is Chief Spence the FN's Alex Jones?

We've had disussions around here after watching the jaw-dropping performance of Alex Jones on CNN's Piers Morgan show. It was truly devastating and exactly what those in power want.  It succeeded in making anyone who questions government narrative on guns, ssris, or 911 be considered as whacky as Jones. It is being broadcast all over the world - it is damning beyond belief. Now anytime these subjects are brought up the media can relate those views to those of Jones' ilk. It really was awful.

That said, I was reading about Chief Theresa Spence's hunger strike and the Idle No More movement and a recurring thought crossed my mind. Ms. Spence is the First Nation's and INM's Alex Jones. By her actions she has done more to divide and polarise all Canadians, including her own. She has completely taken the spotlight off of the real issue - the bill itself and what it means. It is not, as most omnibus bills aren't, good for Canadians - all of us. Yet, no talk about the bill - just all about Spence!

In a way, she is the best gift that Harper could have dreamed of!

Instead of the issues of the bill being broadcast and unvieled for all Canadians to unite against, a unifying process if you will, we now have division politics at its best.

If the rest of the First Nations representatives want to gain any respect back in the eyes of all Canadians, their own included, they will muzzle this woman and send her packing.

Perhaps then we can all talk about what we all lost in this dreadful bill.

Alex Jones on Piers Morgan.. Is Any More Proof Needed?

I stopped listening to Alex many years ago, to be frank I never really like his 'style'.  I will acknowledge, like anyone else, that he made some good points and did wake many folks up - but and this is a big BUT - there was always something there which made me roll my eyes, or even sometimes squint! In other words some things didn't make sense or add up. Coupled with his 'style' it certainly made me wonder about his entire credibility and for myself he became relegated to the 'take a teaspoon of salt' category. Now, don't get me wrong, sometimes Alex does get it right - but that is the point.

This latest loss of composure illustrated on Piers Morgan further indicates to me anyway, that Alex is the establishments best friend forever.

Don't get me wrong, I am actually quite pro self defence, I don't have a problem with same folks owning guns to protect what is theirs. I think the 2nd Amendment is a fundemental for any soveriegn state to maintain its democracy from within, not just wthout.

What Jones did on CNN for the whole nation to see was a tragedy. I could hardly watch it to the end. It left me speechless. All I could think was what an idiot! He played into their hands, gave them exactly what they want on every level. He brought up good points, yet every one of them was negated by his juvenille performance. He should be ashamed. He has made it much more difficult for those of reason to begin a debate about gun control.  Couple that with this ridiculours rant on 911, well played by Morgan, and now the mainstream media can discredit anyone within the truth movement.

Thanks alot Alex, or is that what you really do?

Already this tirade has made international news, The Telegraph lists some of the 'crazy' things Alex spoke of, including the 'suicide' pills, like prozac. So, now anyone who brings this topic up in dicussion can be easily dismissed in the mainstream by citing the 'kook' Alex Jones.

He has poisoned the well, but was that not the point. If Alex were truly a disinfo agent this should be expected.

I hear is is also banning people from his own boards who have pointed out that his meltdown. Alex did more to hurt the image of those who question government narratives than what the authorities could ever dream of.

WTF?

Hi all, it's been a while since I've put fingertips to keyboard, so please bear with me and my rusty old hands.

A very strange thing happened today. I brought up What Really Happened as I usually do to skim and read Michael's site. There was a red lettered warning that Michael's facebook page had been taken down, below was a set of photos which Mr. Rivero was suppose to identify in order to access his account. Of course, Michael doesn't know who the person is.

I do.

It's my boyfriend.

I was like, "wow" that looks like... OMG... it is him!!!

Holy Crap!

So, what to do? I will say I was freaked out, but that would be an understatement!!

I decided to call RBN to try to get a message to Michael, to let him know I knew who it was in the pics. Michael called me back and I let him know. It seems that facebook is closing accounts left, right and center! (My boyfriends account has also been closed).

It seems that something big is in the pipes - this is afterall the same MO which was employed during the days leading up to 911. The closing of sites which would voice a different opinion on what the narrative should be.

It is happening now, like a snowball.

All political postings are being targeted.

Something is going to happen.

Please pass this on.

Please delete your facebook(CIA) accounts.

Please let others know that WE are all being silenced!!

Thank you Penny for reposting this for me. I don't get alot of traffic here anymore, since I don't often post. Family matters take up too much of my time these days, but this might be the push I needed to get active again.

Viagra and a Pack of Lies

I had to put this up before it disappears, I also linked at Penny's blog for posterity's sake.

I can't help but laugh:

US envoy says Gadhafi troops suing Viagra to Rape in Rebel Areas

The U.S. envoy to the United Nations told the Security Council on Thursday that troops loyal to Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi were increasingly engaging in sexual violence and some had been issued the impotency drug Viagra, diplomats said.

Several UN diplomats who attended a closed-door Security Council meeting on Libya told Reuters that U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice raised the Viagra issue in the context increasing reports of sexual violence by Colonel Gadhafi’s troops.

* NATO air strike on Gadhafi compound causes extensive damage

“Rice raised that in the meeting but no one responded,” a diplomat said on condition of anonymity. The allegation was first reported by a British newspaper.

Pfizer Inc’s drug Viagra is used to treat impotence.

If it is true that Col. Gadhafi’s troops are being issued Viagra, diplomats said, it could indicate that they are being encouraged by their commanders to engage in rape to terrorize the population in areas that have supported the rebels.

The use of rape as a weapon during wartime has received increasing attention at the United Nations. Last year, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon appointed a special envoy on sexual violence during armed conflict, Margot Wallstrom.

Earlier this month, Ms. Wallstrom chided the Security Council for failing to mention sexual violence in two recent resolutions on Libya, despite having made the subject a priority.

Ms. Wallstrom said at the time that reports of rape in Libya remained unconfirmed but cited the highly publicized case of Eman al-Obaidi, the woman who burst into a journalists’ hotel in Tripoli last month saying she had been raped by pro-government militiamen.

The International Criminal Court is already investigating whether Col. Gadhafi’s government committed war crimes in its violent crackdown against demonstrators who demanded greater freedoms. The crackdown sparked a rebellion that has turned into a civil war.

The U.S. mission to the United Nations declined to comment.

That Susan Rice would even mention this sort of blatent BS is laughable, hysterical and downright tragic.

Ontario Court Nullifies Current Cannabis Laws

Globe and Mail

An Ontario court has struck down Canada’s laws against possessing and growing cannabis as part of a ruling that found the country’s medicinal marijuana program is failing to provide access to the drug for those who need it.

*snip*

Mr. Justice Donald Taliano of the Ontario Superior Court struck down the Marihuana Medical Access Regulations, arguing they aren’t doing enough to ensure patients can obtain the necessary approvals to use the drug. Simultaneously, he ruled two sections of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act – those that prohibit simple possession and cultivating marijuana – are unconstitutional, since they can be used to criminally charge medicinal users who haven’t been able to obtain such approval.

The ruling means the government must either improve its system for licensing medicinal marijuana patients within 90 days, or it will become legal to use or grow the drug for any purpose. The government can, however, buy itself more time by appealing the ruling.

Although the article at source does use the typical smears and jargon in regards to the use of cannabis, this is an important ruling which I believe could go either way. No doubt the government may simply take this opportunity to trash the entire Medical Marijuana (should be cannabis) program, as it is quite likely that we will be getting another Harper minority. Even if we end up with a Liberal minority, it will be the same thing.

I would just like to add that at the time of this posting the only paper carrying this news was the Globe. Forget the CBC these days, they are entirely useless.

UPDATE
A few other msm sites have chimed in on this - hey it sells, what can I say? The overwhelming response within all comment sections is to simply legalise it across the board.

A slightly less mainstream view can be found here:
Cannabis Culture

Whatever it is worth, I cannot see cannabis being legal within my lifetime. There is way to much money to be made from the current corruption of 'natural' law.
